Topical acne treatment
Bacteria in the skin cause spots. When bacteria feed on sebum produced by the sebaceous glands they produce waste products and fatty acids which irritate the sebaceous glands causing inflammation.
Differin Cream 0.1% contains adalapene. Adalapene is a keratolytic form of vitamin A. It works by breaking down keratin in the skin structure which has an exfoliating effect on the top layer of skin. This helps to combat comedones (blackheads and whiteheads) which block the sebaceous glands.
Adalapene also helps to reduce the amount of sebum produced by the sebaceous glands.

Adalapene
How to take it
